우리나라 성인 한 명이 1년 동안 무려 300잔 넘는 커피를 마신다. 이렇게 마시다 보니까 최근 커피 원두가격의 상승속도가 금보다도 빠르다.
국내 커피전문점의 수는 2010년 말 기준으로 9400개 정도이다. 이것을 2006년도 하고 비교를 하면, 약 6배 정도.
상반기에도 계속 증가를 하고 있는 추세로 1만개를 돌파하는 것은 시간문제!!.
