본문내용: Donne의 시 FirAn (An Aratomy of the World The First Anniversary)의 화자 자기가 시의 작가를 확실하고, Eve과 그의 딸들이 사람 죽임에 대한 비판한다. `Tirst marriage was our funerall`, `One woman at one blow, then kill`d vs all,/ And singly, one by one, they kill vs now`(Variorum 6, II.105-7) Donne이 그렇게 말한다. 여성 성의 기소를 쓸은 것이 Metem(Metempsychosis, 1601,다른 이름은 Infinitatisacrum)중에도 나다나다. 여러기지 식물과 돈물의 화신을 통과해서 석악과의 의미를 암시한다. 이런 사악한 엉혼이 이미 일런의 죄를 축적한다. 결과 ‘treachery/ Rapine, deceit, and lust, and ills enow/To be a woman’라는 것을 알았다. 사람은 원죄를 가지고 인간으로 나왔다. (Themech…/ Sister and wife to Caine)(III. 507-10). <창세기>에는 여성혐오에 대한 내용이 불완전이다. 그런데, 시의 다음 절에, 그의 작품은 급격히 끝나다. 시인이 독자한데 ‘Who ere thou beest that read’st this sullen Writ,/ Which just so much courts thee, as thou dost it,/ Let me arrest thy thoughts’(II. 511-13)이렇게 말한다. 그가 무슨의인지, 누구한데 말했든지, 화자가 의문을 한다. 태스트의 원래 주제를 제시하고, Essex와 여성 권력의 몰락을 암시한다. But it cannot be said… that by one woman innocence entred, and life: The Virgin Mary had not the same interest in our salvation, as Eve had in our destruction, nothing that she did entred into that treasure, that ransom that redeemed us.(Sermons1.200)
