영어의 구사력과 청취력이 강조되는 것은 자연스러운 현상이나, 그렇다고 독해력을 소홀히 할 수는 없다. 여러 형태의 매스 미디어를 통해 쏟아지는 필요한 정보를 해석할 수 있어야 한다.독해는 주어진 글을 우리말로 옮기는 번역과는 다르다. 독해의 의의는 독창적인 사고 과정에 있다. 독자가 ‘저자와의 대화’를 통해, 글의 내용을 나름대로 재구성하는 것이 독해이다(Moss, 1984).독해는 심리언어학적인 게임이라는 Goodman의 정의를 인용하면서 Brown(
