본문내용: 8. 본시 선정의 이유
1~2차시에서 연습한 다양한 직업명칭을 바탕으로 본 차시에서는 실제생활 속에서 그러한 표현들이 어떻게 사용되는지를 살펴보고, 다양한 표현을 반복 연습하면서 듣고 말하는 능력을 발전시키고자 한다.
본 차시에서는 “What do you want to be?”, “I want to be a ___?” 표현을 통해 상황에 맞게 직업을 묻고 답하는 것과, 한걸음 더 나아가 장래 희망과 원하는 것이 무엇인지 묻고 답하는 표현을 읽혀 자신의 진로에 대해 생각해 보고 실생활에 활용할 수 있도록 하며, 이번 차시에 배운 내용들이 4~5차시에 계속적으로 연결되고 활용되기 때문에 모든 학생들이 수업에 적극적으로 참여할 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

9. 수업의 방향
이 단원의 목표는 가격을 묻고 답하며 물건을 사고파는 표현을 자연스럽게 발화할 수 있도록 하는 것이다. 다양한 TPR(Total Physical Response) 활동으로 어휘와 표현을 충분히 연습하고 Whole → Group → Pair work 형태로 이루어지는 Role play를 통해 친구들과 서로 도와주고 협력하는 수업 분위기를 조성하고자 한다. 4학년 학생들의 영어학습 흥미도와 이해정도를 조사한 결과 많은 학생들이 게임, 챈트 등의 활동위주의 수업을 좋아하는 것으로 나타났다. (75%) 따라서, 본 차시에서 배운 내용을 실제로 사용해 볼 수 있는 체험중심 활동으로 Garage Sale을 구안・적용하여 목표언어를 학생들이 흥미를 가지고 반복적으로 연습할 수 있도록 유도한 뒤, 다양한 쓰기, 읽기 지도를 함께 진행하여 자신감을 가지고 유의미한 상황 속에서 자연스럽게 문장을 사용할 수 있도록 교수학습 활동을 전개하고자 한다.
