As the winter break approaches, my anticipation grows for the myriad of experiences awaiting me. With a blend of self-improvement, adventure, and altruism, I am geared up for a wholesome and fulfilling vacation.
Primarily, I've set my sights on embarking on a fitness journey. Planning regular visits to the gym, I aim to embark on a fitness regimen aimed at achieving personal wellness. Alongside exercise, I'm committed to a healthy diet, seeking to make lifestyle changes conducive to overall well-being.
However, the thrill of the winter vacation truly begins when I gather with friends at the Yongpyong Resort for an exhilarating skiing adventure. The idea of gliding down snow-clad slopes, surrounded by laughter and camaraderie, excites me beyond measure. It's an opportunity to relish the joys of friendship amidst nature's stunning beauty.
Following this adrenaline-packed escapade, I have set my sights on scaling the heights of Seoraksan, aspiring to welcome the dawn of 2024 atop its majestic peak. The prospect of witnessing the first sunrise of the new year while surrounded by awe-inspiring natural vistas fills me with anticipation.
Subsequently, I plan to partake in a spiritually enriching experience by participating in a 2-night, 3-day retreat organized by the CCC (Christian Campus Community). It's a chance for introspection, prayer, and seeking spiritual nourishment to start the new year on a serene note.
The adventure doesn't stop there. Mid-January, a trip to the hot springs in Kyushu, Japan, awaits me and my friends. Immersing ourselves in the rich cultural tapestry of Japan while unwinding in therapeutic hot springs promises relaxation and cultural exploration.
While my winter break is packed with adventures, I am equally eager to expand my knowledge. With an ambitious goal of reading around 200 books, including those on personal finance and investment strategies, I aim to broaden my horizons and delve deeper into various subjects.
Moreover, I am excited to venture into a new skill – cross-stitching. This artistic pursuit captivates me as I anticipate the joy of creating intricate designs and mastering this craft.
Lastly, my heart yearns for giving back. I intend to volunteer at the San Francisco Nursing Home, dedicating my time to serve and bring smiles to the faces of the elderly residents, including my grandparents.
In essence, my winter vacation embodies a harmonious blend of self-improvement, thrilling escapades, intellectual growth, and heartfelt altruism. Each planned activity is a testament to my aspiration for personal development, exploration, and contributing to the well-being of others.
