· 1-1. What is the purpose of this lab?
이 실험을 통해서 목재 기둥의 길이에 따른 column buckling을 구하여 비교해본다
1-2. Why are we doing this?
기둥에는 버클링이 일어나고, 기둥이 압축되어 부서질 때까지 지탱할 수 있는 최대응력과 강도를 구하여 short, intermediate, long column에서 비교해보기 위해서 실험을 한다
1-3. Are there specific objectives to accomplish?
구조물의 경우, 재료에 따라서 또는 하중의 종류에 따라서 여러 가지 형태로 파괴된다. 따라서 구조물의 설계자는 구조물의 최대응력을 견디는 한도 내에서 구조물을 만들어 이러한 파괴를 피하고자 한다. 강도(strength)와 강성(stiffness)은 설계상 중요한 기준이 되기도 한다. 그래서 구조 파괴의 한 형태인 buckling을 살펴보도록 하는 것이다.
