1. Objects
To understand Plant stress responses
To find glucose responses on plant germination and growth.
To understand plant glucose and hormonal interplay
2. Introduction
▶ Plant stress
External conditions that adversely affect growth,
development, or productivity
Stresses trigger a wide range of plant responses:
altered gene expression
cellular metabolism
changes in growth rates and crop yields
▶ Plant stress factors
Biotic - imposed by other organisms
Abiotic - arising from an excess or deficit in the
physical or chemical environment
-> Plant responses to abiotic factors :
arising from an excess or deficit in the
physical or chemical environment
-> Excess exogenous Glucose is also a environmental cue!
▶ Glucose treatment : 3%, 4%, 5% Glc medium
2% NaOCl 200ul 10분 treatment
