Q1. Where do you stand? Do you think EU subsidies and soft loans to Airbus are fair? Why or why not? What advantages does Airbus gain from free financial support from the EU governments? Are complaints about EU subsidies fair in light of Europe’s history of democratic socialism?

A1. In order to protect domestic industries, EU subsidies for Airbus was required. Subsidies was essential to prevent Boeing's monopoly, because Boeing was head- start in Air bus and Boeing's monopoly industry. if free market without the intervention of the government had been, Boeing would have been monopoly company. iF Air bus got government subsides, profits can be gained with participating in Airbus aircraft production.
