본문내용: 1998년 12월 3일 국제 우주정거장 건설을 위해 로켓이 발사되었다. 미국과 러시아를 비롯한 16개 나라가 참여한 이 우주정거장 프로젝트는 각 나라가 맡은 부분이 따로 있을 만큼 거대한 프로젝트이다. 저번 비디오에서 보았던 밀레니엄 타워같이 한 국가에서 시작부터 끝을 완료할 수 없을 정도의 거대 프로젝트인 것이다. 거기에다 만들어서 우주공간으로 보내는 것이 아니라 우주공간에서 각 재료와 부품들을 연결해야 한다는 것이 나를 더욱 놀라게 했다. 그래도 저번 비디오의 배는 물위긴 하지만 지구 안에서 하는 것이었다. 그것도 놀라운 일이었는데 우주공간에서 작업을 한다니 엄청난 일이다. 이런 엄청난 작업을 거치고 만들어진 space station은 무게만 450톤이고 시속 28000km의 속도를 가지고 있다고 한다. 8000km를 이동하는데 17분이면 된다니 만약 일반적인 비행기가 저 정도 속도라면 어디든 못 갈 곳이 없을 것
