3-1.Our new goal
We have gone through numerous marketing theories this semester. Of course we had seen lots of examples and sample cases, but we never had the chance to apply them in real life.
This team project will give us the chance to analyze the marketing strategies of a company, and adjust them. We will be able to apply the theoretical knowledges into actual usage.
We decided to choose a company that had failed to successfully market its products. The company we have chosen is 'Winia'. Winia is well known for its prestigous 'Winia air conditioner'. Winia continuously focused on researching and developing new products, and finally created the 'kimchi refrigerator' for the first time in history.
‘딤채 Kimchi's name in the Chosun dynasty
’ is the name of the kimchi refrigerator that Winia has created. As the lifestyle of Korea rapidly became westernized, the storage area for kimchi started to disappear. Winia started developing the kimchi refrigerator in 1991. In 1993 it built a kimchi refrigerator research lab, and in 1995, it released its first kimchi refrigerator. 만들었다.
